The Speed Pocket has been a popular feature of Taylormade woods in recent years. The speed pocket on the new M2 Driver has been redesigned, which is three times as flexible as the last model. Adjustable Loft Sleeve
The loft sleeve in the new M2 is also aluminum instead of plastic, which makes shaft optimisation a little easier than the previous model.

Taylormade M2 D Type Driver
This is another alternate driver with the D Standing for Draw.
If your common bad shot is the slice then never fear as the M2 D Type driver is designed to help counteract this with up to twenty yards of draw bias.
The majority of the sole weight in this model is more towards the heel, and the face is one degree closed compared to the standard model. This is an excellent review of the Taylormade M2 Driver, Chris. I love watching golf on TV and have always been fascinated by the distance that top golfers can send the golf ball from the tee.
An amateur golfing friend of mine from Macclesfield, England, taught me about the Yonex driver some years back. With that driver, he could send the ball over 260 yards. That was awesome then.
But now, after reading this review of the M2 driver, I get the impression that technology has advanced even more. The Yonex I just mentioned was particularly good. My friend was in fact selected to test the Yonex in a special Yonex event in Southport, Lancashire, because he was then Macclesfield Golf Club’s best driver.
Sergio Garcia – in the very informative video here – likes the M2. He drove the ball 280+ yards. I bet, with a bit of tailwind, 300+ yards is easily achievable with this driver. Cool!

Awesome review, sounds like a great club for the average golfer like me. Not too many adjustments too get distracted with, there is enough going through my head when I stand over the ball at the tee box. A larger sweet spot is great too AND the draw model, most guys I play with, including myself have trouble with the slice, or trying not to slice and hitting a snap hook. Do you know how popular this has become with the average golfer ?

The Taylormade M2 has been one of the better selling drivers in 2017. It is not too confusing for the average golfer with minimal adjustments. The D Type model is a great option for golfers who struggle with the slice and don’t really get much time to practice.
